All and all it was a great stay. I’d suggest taking the wooden train to solles and the connecting ( it’s a deal, you go

The place was in a really good spot and right on the beach . They fed you adequately, but you know it is like hotel buffet food . That being said, there was really a great effort to provide a huge variety and you won’t go hungry for sure ! The staff was also really really great. The dining room staff were so on top of it and friendly and really worked hard . I read reviews about the cleaning staff not being on top of it but that must have been amended because these ladies were definitely on top of it .

I felt like the property itself could use some upkeep , like the actual rooms.. laminate coming up, stuff like that but honestly my room was nice and very clean and when you step out on the balcony you forget some little detail, or I do.. . I also feel like some people may be accustomed to having a more curtailed streaming service on the tv… Netflix or whatever . This is basic cable , but I’m here to relax and go to the beach and walk around and see the sights. If I wanted to watch tv I’d stay home.

Good but... not excellent

The food was excellent. Great variety and choices. The room was a bit small and there was no door on the bathroom. I liked that they upgraded our room. It was right on the beach front. The staff were mostly friendly and helpful.

The room wasn't cleaned properly before we arrived. We had to ask for it to be cleaned. There was dust everywhere. They then didn't clean it daily as stated in their brochure. We had to repeatedly ask for them to clean it; which they eventually did the day before we left (after we went to the front desk to request it be cleaned yet again) . Though the food was lovely it was very very salty. The Kitchen staff were very helpful and always available to cook fresh food.

All in all it was not too bad, but I won’t be coming back, neither would recommend this hotel.

Location is right by the beach and close to hiking trails. The bed was comfy and sheets soft

Some days food was cold, tea was cold, juice was like water. The service of the room is really poor. No tea or coffee in the room. No cattle. Nothing was brought to the room unless asked (no water, soap or shampoo). No robes or slippers. I feel like it should go without saying that there should be no naked people by the pool but they were changing into swim suits right there. Super weird

That we got lucky and we received room on the highest floor. Also that we had a room ready to enter much more earlier (at 9:30) and it wasn’t problem to get male check-in

In the day it was relaxing and lovely. In the night, it was hot and uncomfortable.

Breakfast was amazing, it had all you would need for a decent breakfast. The pool was nice and on the beachside which was very relaxing.

The air conditioning in the room was weak and I was boiling whilst in there. So I wanted to stay out of the room as much as possible. The furnishings could do with a repair and cleanup.

It was good enough.

The reception staff were lovey! Such nice people! They made our stay way better!! The location was great! We had acces to almost anything! Beautiful hotel!

The only problem we had was the behaviour of the two head-women at breakfast (one with long curly hair and the one with the glasses and extreme make up. There are many rules (not all logical, smokers unfriendly) that people have never heard. In that case you would politely apologies and tell us how things are but not start screaming like we are some criminals and ruin our appetite! We were treated like children while we are adults who paid to be in this hotel! Respect the customers of the hotel and the rating might get higher!

Great stay with a few minor inconveniences!

The view from our room was amazing! The location and the breakfast were great. The staff were helpful and always made sure we got an answer to our question.

1. Not providing and drinks (tea, water, soda, juice) at the dinner buffet was annoying! We had to make sure we had extra money to pay for a drink even though the dinner was included. 2. The A/C in the room was not enough to cool the room. We kept the drapes shut all day withe the A/C running and the room was still too warm. 3. There are hand sanitizers all around the facility. EVERYTIME we tried to get hand sanitizer they were empty. I suggest either filling them up or taking them down.

Pleasant holiday but not without its challenges including lumpy old mattresses, and lots of noise

The ocean views and early morning swims in addition to the hotel's friendly, supportive and accomodating staff at this ultra noisy location were huge pluses. The hotel food was excellent both both for breakfast and dinner, and even more enjoyable with the large terrace facing the ocean. Another huge plus is the taxi ride to Palma is approx 12 Euros each way and just 15 mins away so you can immerse yourself in its rich cultural, historic, gastronomic and shopping experiences. The island is very beautiful and small so it is easy to explore and discover new locations.

Whilst the staff, food and ocean were all absolutely wonderful and helped us make the most of our stay this 'tired' hotel is not a relaxing at all due to surrounding bars, holiday makers and loud music etc. We were also frequently woken up way past midnight by other hotel guests and holiday makers in the resort partying. We do not recommend for anyone who wants to have a good sleep or a relaxing holiday. However we highly recommended this hotel and location for party animals. This hotel is situated in an ultra noisy location and has the worst hotels beds we have ever experienced globally. The hotel is 'tired' and needs renovations in particular the rooms, gym and pool area. Whilst there is almost nothing to see or do in Cala Major resort itself ie away from the beach it will be ideal for anyone who loves spending time in bars and has a few small supermarket type offerings too. If you're happy to travel around the island and frequently visit Palma etc you will be happy but very tired due to uncomfortable beds and noise from the beach, hotel guests and surrounding area. however the hotel is 'tired' and needs renovations in particular the rooms, gym and pool areas.
